Another message to Brett Raguse . . .

Hi Brett,

I rang your office on Friday 8th January 2010, and spoke to "Stewart." He ummed and aaahed when I asked him about the 9 key questions I'd sent you that same day, which go to the very heart of Schapelle's "Guilt" or otherwise - but (bless his cotton socks), he did confirm that my questions were received by your office. But then he fumbled and mumbled, and said something about not being "Sure" you could answer them, because they're "Legal" issues. I told him I wouldn't fail to call your office back on Monday 11th January 2010, when hopefully, you'd be "Surer."

Not "Sure" Brett? Well, you'd better bloody well be "Sure," as your Government confiscated the proceeds of her book as "The proceeds of crime." They were well damn "Sure" enough for that Brett, weren't they? They were "Sure" enough of the "Legal issues" then, weren't they?

So to help you be a bit "Surer" Brett, I'm emailing you a copy of a flyer that I created about the issues to-day, and I'll also be dropping a rough hard copy of it into your office on Monday.

Now, I don't know if you remember the last time we met, but I do. You were sitting at the entrance of Loganlea railway station around 7.30am in the morning, campaigning for election. I was on my way to an environmental conference in Brisbane, and as I live at Cedar Vale, I'd decided to "Park & Ride." We chatted for about 5 minutes or so, about the ALP and climate change. So you know what Brett, methinks I'll take a leaf out of your book . . .

Wonder how many of those flyers a group of us could hand out at both Loganlea Station, and Beenleigh Station, from around 6am onwards, on a week day? And you know what, I reckon the Caboolture railway line has an awful lot going for it as well - and the words "Dickson" and "Longman" come to mind straight away. Regards, Kim

  1. Your questions are legal questions- haven't you heard of separation of powers? It was something that was taught in high school civics. Also it is a criminal case in another country- perhaps you should contact the Indonesian emabassy or Schapelle's lawyers. The profits of her book are proceeds from crime- she was convicted of a crime in Indonesia and she wrote a book about it- same thing happened to David Hicks when he sold his story.

  2. Nellie, I posted my blog just a few hours ago to-day, on a Sunday - and then emailed it to the office of every Federal politician Queensland, plus posted it on Schapelle Corby supporters forum. Hang out there do you? It's very, very premature for any "Member of the general public" to be commenting on my blog post, and I note your profile is completely anonymous. So what ALP office are you from? Quite honestly Nellie, as a registered nurse of over 30 years experience, I'm a lot more interested in keeping innocent people out of jail (did they teach YOU that in "High School Civics"?), than I am with esoteric legal theories. And guess what? Want to take a bet with me that 99.9% of Australians don't feel the same? They'd tell you to take your theory and smoke it - just give them the ANSWERS. You know what I'm interested in Nellie? I'm interested in putting these questions to the Australian people, and letting THEM be the judge. Sounds about right to me. And here's something else for you to think about, because an awful lot of Australians will be thinking about it too, by the time I'm finished (full-page ad from this in Dayboro, coming soon):

  3. Obviously Nellie has not read Schapelle's book. At no stage has she written about her so called crime. Her book is all about her experience with corrupt systems including police, lawyers and judiciary. She also writes about her experiences in jail. At no stage does she write about the 'crime'. Nellie's style of prose indicates she is a he to me.

  4. These questions are something the honourable member should take up as one of his constituents has posed them. If he is not in the know on this issue he can ask the government or other honourable members. That's what pollies do and get paid for.

Schapelle and her girlfriends bags were weighed collectively at Qantas check in.65 kilos was on her ticket when she arrived at Ngurah Rai airport. She requested that police and customs weigh the bags collectively to prove there was a discrepancy, they REFUSED.
She requested the police stop contaminating the evidence by not wearing gloves, they LAUGHED AT HER.
This was their prosecution evidence and Schapelle is the one asking them to preserve it!
Do you think she had a death wish when she requested the CCTV footage from Brisbane airport?
If one single frame came to light of her with an obviously pregnant boogie board bag, she would of had to change her plea to guilty and pray they wouldn't shoot her.
On Saturday the 9th of October her mother phoned the Brisbane airport security, she was told the footage was intact and would be available for collection on Monday morning.
The AFP get involved and suddenly the cameras were not working, then they were turned off for maintenance and then the final excuse...
the cameras are only turned on when there is a person of interest at the airport! This all happened post 9/11 when airport security was at it's highest.

Back to Ngurah Rai airport, the police didn't search any other item of schapelle's luggage.
They didn't even bother to interview her travelling comanions and found it unnecessary to search any of their baggage and this is supposidly the first ever commercial quantity of marijuana discovered coming from Australia in the history of man kind.
    No they had their PATSY
